Van Yen Cinnamon

Located in the northern part of Yên Bái province, Văn Yên district has a natural area of over 139 thousand hectares, with forestry land accounting for 75%. Due to its high hilly terrain and a climate suitable for the growth of cinnamon trees, the Văn Yên cinnamon region has been formed for a long time and has been closely associated with the lives of the Dao people. The Dao people in this area work hard and have a strong connection with cinnamon trees. Cinnamon cultivation has been a traditional occupation for them, and as a result, the experiences in cinnamon cultivation, such as selecting varieties, planting, caring, harvesting, and preservation.
